• HARD WEED OLD IANOS
  • Very strong variety which is well adapted to different soils. Good quality, compact, thick heart, with long, hard, upright, darkish green leaves. Most widely grown of the roman variety. How to grow: Sow throughout the year, preferably from September to February in seedbeds which should be protected for winter sowings. When plants have 3 or 4 leaves, transplant to a distance of 30 x 40 cm. Harvest: Approximately 3 or 4 months after sowing.
  • The classic export bulb, and also highly valued on national market as its keeps very well and for its size. Hard, spherical bulbs, well – shaped and sweet tasting. Straw – coloured, copper – toned the outer skin and whitish the inner coats. How to grow: Sow in seedbeds from August to September according to climate. When plants are pencil – thick, transplant to a distance of 40 x 15 cm. Harvest: Bulbs can be harvested in September – October.
  • Plant with very dark green, slightly, wavy, uniform leaves. Good-sized, round, white, compact, hard grained heads with short stalks. Keeps well for the market. How to grow: Sow in seedbeds at the end of May and June. Transplant after 30 or 40 days to a distance of 80 x 60 cm. Harvest: From the end of October to December.
  • Good yielding, medium cycle plant. Height: 150-170 cm. Very solid, round, uniform-sized fruits. Excellent flavour. How to grow: Sow in hot beds from December to February, directly in open air seedbeds in March-April. Transplant to a distance of 40 x 70 cm. when plants have 3 or 4 leaves. Water frequently and thoroughly when transplanting and when fruits begin to ripen. It is convenient to prune excess stalks and shoots. Harvest: Approximately 3 months after transplanting.
  • Excellent variety, improved by our company, cylindrical, uniform shape with a flat tip. Bright orange, thin-skinned, exempts of hard core, sweet flavour hardy and do not push above the ground. How to grow: Sow throughout the year, preferably from February to May. Scatter or sow in rows 40 cm. apart. Clear to 10 cm. apart. Harvest: Approximately 3 or 4 months after sowing.
  • ACROCLINIUM (HELIPTERUM) Annual. Plant with double and varied flowers. Fine ramified stems 35 to 50 cm. high. How to grow: Sow in hot beds from March to April or in final location from March to April. Flowering: From July to September. Use: For clusters and as cut flowers.
  • SUNSET VIOLET (VIOLA ODORATA) How to sow: In summer and autumn. To be sown superficially in final location or for transplant. Directly, clear the young plants at 20 cm distance, if with transplant at the same distance. In warm climates it is to be kept shady in summer. Flowering: In spring and summer. Use: In borders, pots and as cut flowers.
  • SUNSET VIOLET (VIOLA ODORATA) How to sow: In summer and autumn. To be sown superficially in final location or for transplant.   • CONVOLVULUS TRICOLOR: Annual. How to sow: In spring directly or with transplant, clearing plants at 25 cm. distance. Flowering: In summer and autumn. Strong plant which goes in all kind of soils. Use: In gardens, borders, specially in a sunny exposure.
  • HALF HIGH MARIGOLD DOUBLE MIXED: Annual. How to sow: In spring and autumn, transplant at 30 cm. distance. Flowering: In spring (autumn sowing), summer-autumn (spring sowing). Strong plant, which does not need special care. Use: Borders, windows-beds, and very appreciated as cut flower for brunches.
  • SUMMER SAVORY: Annual. Height: 25 cm. How to grow: Sow directly from April to May. Clear out when plants are 15 cm. high. Flowering: From June to October. Use: Aromatic plant, very much fragrant used when cooking for sauces and as infusion for digestion.
  • BASIL: Annual. Height: 30 cm. How to sow: Sow in spring in seedbeds or in final location. Transplant them when the seedlings are 8 cm. high at 20 cm. of separation. Plant with very sweet smelling foliage. Use: Pots, borders and rock gardens.
  • MENTHA SPICATA: Vivacious. Height: from 40 to 50 cm. Use: as a condiment in the kitchen, for making tea, mojitos and for medicinal use. Seeding: from February to June Culture: in seedbeds or in final location. Transplant them when the seedlings are 10 cm. high at 30 cm. of separation Harvest: from 3 months
  • Height: 25 cm. How to sow: Autumn-spring. Flowering: From May to August. It has purple flowers and leaves from 7-14 mm. long curling at the edges. Use: Edging plants in gardens, seasonings or for making balm water.
  • COMMON DILL: Annual. Height: 70 cm. How to grow: Sow directly in place. Harvest: Leaves are picked from June to August. Use: To flavour food. Its taste is between fennel and peppermint. It is also used for vinegar and canned goods seasoning.
  • PHOENIX CANARIENSIS (Palm Tree): Perennial. Can be grown in gardens. Can be sown all the year in sheltered seedbeds, transplant when plants are 10 cm. high. Replant finally when plants are about 30 cm. high. Sow about 2 cm. deep in well-prepared, well-drained soils. Should not be grown in areas where the temperature falls bellow 0ºC.
  • PINE (PINUS PINEA): Typical conifer in the Mediterranean area. 8-10 m. high. It is a well formed pine and very decorative. It produces pine-cones containing pine-kernels very much appreciated for cooking and pastry.
  • MIMOSA-ACACIA DEALBATA: Garden tree highly appreciated by its beautiful gold yellow flowering in winter. Perennial leaf and foliage during the whole year. Medium small tree, 3 to 5 m. high. It can be sown alone or in group in all the garden exposures.
  • MUSE (Ornamental Banana Tree): Perennial. Suitable for gardens. How to sow: All the year at a 40 cm. depth. It needs light soil, not too much moist and some sand to help drainage. It tolerates dry hot conditions well. In winter it should be in a sunny place, with temperatures preferably over 8ºC. This plant is highly appreciated for its elegance and beauty.
  • PICEA ABIS: It is the conifer know as Christmas-tree. Pyramid shape, green colour and easy to grow. How to grow: Sow at the end of winter and in spring. In seedbed, sheltered when beginning to germinate, afterwards, transplant to final location.
